Due Diligence for Major Acquisition
To support their expansion into the US, we provided services to a major Australian bank. This included leading and delivering the Technology stream of the bank’s due diligence for their acquisition of a US bank.
The project encompassed:
Development of a framework to support the assessment
Review and analysis of documents in the due diligence data room
Conducting interviews with key IT managers
Site visits to the US bank head office and data centres
Following completion of the fieldwork, a report was prepared for the executive capturing all findings and recommendations, the key risks and issues identified, proposed mitigation plans for these risks and issues, and high-level budgets and schedule to deliver the mitigation plan.
The US bank was subsequently acquired for over $900M USD.
